The NEB Rays rolled through Championship Tuesday of the 17u WWBA New England Championship to finish the weekend 7-0 and take home the title. 

After finishing pool play at 4-0 and giving up a total of 5 runs the NEB Rays went into the playoffs as the #2 overall seed. In the Quarterfinals they jumped out early scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning  again J&M Baseball going on to win 9-0. Their biggest challenge came in the Semi-Finals where MWS Devils put them in an early 3-0 hole. Slowly clawing their way back into the game they were able to tie it 4-4 in the bottom of the 7th before winning it 5-4 in the 9th.

In the Championship Game Matt Morash started on the mound against Show Baseball 17u. Cooper Tarantino hit a HR to pad the lead and eventual 6-0 win. 

For Tarantino's efforts he was named MVP of the tournament. He hit 2 HR's during the playoffs.
