North East Baseball Celebrates Class of 2014 with Mock Signing

On Saturday, December 28th North East Baseball held a Mock Signing for all players who have committed to a college to play college baseball in the Class of 2014 (some players were unable to attend). This years class has been one of the most successful class in the history of the program. There already have been over 45 players to commit to play college baseball and more still to come. 

Not only was it one NEB most successful season on the field but off the field as well in the classroom. Many of the players are committed to some of the best academic schools in the country. 

North East Baseball also announced the winner of the annual NEB Scholarship given to one player who is moving on to play in college. This years winner was Kevin Cuneo. Cuneo who goes to Beverly High School is moving on to play at MIT. Kevin is the Valedictorian of his class at Beverly High School with a GPA over 4.0. A 1B/3B he has played in the program for 3 years, he was on the 2012 NEB Jaxx, 2013 NEB Rays and will participate on the 2014 NEB Mudhens.
