After a beautiful day to play baseball on Saturday the rain came on Sunday but that wouldn't stop Nor'Easters-Blue from taking home the 12u NEB Classic championship.

With on and off rain taking place all day Sunday, just before the Championship game the heavier rain came. Even though there was a delay the field was still ready to go and we were ready to play just 30 minutes after the originally 3pm start time. In the finals Nor'Easters-Blue who were the Wild Card team played Seacoast United Pirates-Gold. Knowing that more rain could come at any time both teams knew they had to get off to a quick start and the Nor'Easters did scoring 12 runs in the Top of the 1st in route to a 16-3 win. They were paced by Tournament MVP Ramyond Velazquez.

Both these teams meet in the first game of pool play and it ended in a 9-9 tie. Due to tiebreakers Seacoast United Pirates-Gold won the pool and Nor'Easters Blue were the wild card. The #1 overall seed and Pool A winner was Nor'Easters-White. The #2 seed and Pool C winner was New England Storm who took down the NH Black Flies on Sunday morning 12-10 in the final pool play game. The Storm then fell in a nip and tuck game to the Pirates 10-8 in the Semi-Finals.
