The 18u North East Baseball Mudhens advanced to the playoff round of the 18u WWBA Championships last week and finished in the Top 12 of close to 100 teams in the event. 

Placed in Pool E the Mudhens started off Pool Play hot getting to a 5-1 record. And in order to secure the Pool they tied Nelson Baseball School 18u 0-0 behind a tremendous pitching performance by Josh Garber to advance to the playoff round. 

Earning the 11 seed Mudhens matched up with Team Louisiana. Despite taking an early 2-0 lead Team Louisiana offensive attack got going and eventually won the game 9-3. 

The Mudhens next are playing in the East Cobb Yankees Classic June 25th-28th
