Director of Baseball Operations

Scott Patterson founded North East Baseball in 2008 after spending 2 years in Miami, Fl with the Florida Bombers.  North East Baseball was founded with a vision of exposing HS players to as many college coaches as possible wile playing the best competition possible.  Over the past 2 years North East Baseball has over 70 kids playing college baseball, and have had 3 players drafted.  Scott is currently an Associate Scout with the Washington Nationals.

In 2007 and 2008 Patterson coached in the Florida Bomber Organization, in Miami, Fl the nations #1 ranked summer program in the country. While in Miami Scott had the opportunity to coach various MLB Draft picks including 2nd round pick JR Murphy, 5th rd pick Tyler Pastornicky, as well as players who are attending such schools as:.  Florida, Florida State, Clemson, Miami, South Carolina, Wake Forest, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Mississippi, NC State, Georgia, East Tennessee State, Elon, Marshall, Cornell.  In 2007 Coach Patterson was named Florida Bombers Coach of the year and in 2008 won a WWBA Title.

College Career:


Scott began his college career at Cuyahoga Community College in Parma, OH. While at Cuyahoga Community College: Set career record for hits, Broke the double play record both freshman and sophomore seasons, Holds the career record for At Bats in a season. Scott also held a career batting average of .360. As a Sophomore he hit .366 while stealing 23 bases. While at Cuyahoga, Scott was named All-Conference both Freshman and Sophomore years.

After finishing his career at Cuyahoga he accepted a scholarship to Union University in Jackson, TN, where he played one season under legendary Coach Andy Rushing, hitting .290 playing in all 58 games.

For his senior season Scott transferred to Urbana University to finish out his career. While at Urbana he posted: .402 batting average, while setting the school record for assists with 147, was 2nd Team All-Conference. Scott was also named Defensive Player of the Year. A total of five players off of his team signed Professional Contracts.

College Coaching:


After his playing career was over, Scott joined the coaching ranks. He had the opportunity to coach one Season at Urbana University (NCAA DIV II), where he was in charge of the Infielders, Outfielders, and Base-running. While at Urbana the team posted a 33-27 record.
