It was an all North East Baseball final in the 16u North East Baseball Classic, which saw the NEB Jays out duel the NEB Pirates to win the 16u NEB Classic. Going 5-0 on the weekend the Jays showed why they were one of the top teams in the region.

Tournament MVP was Cam Grindle. Who was outstanding at the plate leading the offensive attack on the weekend. For the NEB Pirates they had to play an impressive 4 games on Sunday to get to the Championship game. Starting with a pool play win over Team CT Baseball. They followed that up with a 5-3 win over Baseball U-CT Black and a 9-5 win over the 2 seed Boys of Summer to get to the championships. 

Other playoff teams included Baseball U-CT Grey and CT Grind-Blue

North East Baseball will be hosting their final tournament of the summer the 17u and 16u New England Elite 8 August 13th-15th in Rhode Island.
