NEB Pirates won 4 games in one day on Monday June 19th to take home the 15u WWBA New England Regional at the New England Baseball Complex. 

Rain had shortened pool play from 3 to 2 games, that saw the Pirates go 1-0-1, forcing them into a middle seed out of the 16 that advanced to the playoffs. 

Strong pitching led the Pirates through out the day. Giving up a total of 5 runs on the day. Including keeping the team in the game in the Semis and Finals to allow the offense to get going. 

Gavin Wainwright was named MVPitcher of the tournament for his 4 innings of shutout ball in pool play on Sunday as well as his 1 inning of work in the championship game Monday night. 

The Pirates now head to Marietta, GA to play in the 15u WWBA Championships.
