CT Grind took home the 2023 16u North East Baseball Classic with a dominate weekend of baseball....Coming out of pool play at 3-0 and only giving up 1 run the Grind secured the 1 seed as the only team to go 3-0 during pool play.

Getting a bye into the Semis The Grind then defeated Baseball U-CT Black to make it to the finals against NEB Pirates. The Grind took an early 3-0 lead and could never really put the Pirates away watching leads dwindle down to 5-3 and 7-5 but in the end the Grind were able to put up a couple insurance runs and help back a 7th inning NEB rally for a 9-7 win.

Also advancing to the playoffs were NEB-Wnukowski and the Ocean State Makos. Both winning their respectful pools NEB-Wnukowski lost to Baseball U-CT Black 5-3 in the first round and OS Makos lost to the NEB Pirates 5-3 in the Semi-Finals.
