The New England Scoprions and CT Grind were crowned 17u and 16u New England Elite 8 Champions this past weekend. 

At the 17u level the Scorpions walked off the NEB Jays 5-4 at Boston College to win the championship. After pool play the 8 teams were put in a single elimination bracket, forcing the Champion to have to win 3 games in a day.  The Runner Up NEB Jays saw their day start at 9am with wins over the Jr Woo Sox 13-1 and NH Prospects 4-3. 

At the 16u level the CT Grind beat Next Level Baseball 5-2 to win the bracket. After 4 pool play games these 2 teams found themselves atop the standings with the Grind going 4-0 and Next Level Baseball 3-1. 

Next event hosted by NEB will be the 18u NEB End of Summer Classic July 26th-28th in the Providence, RI area.
