For the second time in the summer the CT Grind have won a NEB Tournament crown. After opening the season with a 18u NEB Invitational tournament title they closed the NEB tournament summer season with a title as well. 

CT Grind Sr's beat Expos Baseball 8-0 in the finals of the 18u NEB End of Summer Classic. The Grind who won Pool C going 3-0 giving up 4 runs earned a bye straight to the Championships due to tie breakers. In the 2 seed vs 3 seed game Expos Baseball (Pool D Winner) beat Southern Maine River Rats 6-3 to advance to the Championship.

Next tournament being hosted by North East Baseball is their annual NEB Fall Invitational Sept 28th-29th in the Central/Eastern, MA area.
