Connecticut Capitals Take Home 13u NEB Classic Title

The Connecticut Capitals ran the table to take home the 3rd annual 13u NEB Classic title. In the championship game CT Capitals beat NE Nor'Easters-Blue 11-10 with 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th for the walk off win. The Nor'Easters were the defending champions.

The Capitals were led by Tournament MVP Ben Maycock who had a total of 4 RBI in the championship game including a long 2-run Home Run. He also had another 2 Home Runs in games leading up to the championship game as well as 1 Hit shutout on the mound to get the Caps to the playoffs.

In The Semi-Finals the Nor'Easters beat the Merrimack Valley Thunder-Green 8-3 to advance to the finals and the Capitals beat the New England Colonials-Navy 7-5 to advance. The Thunder made the playoffs as the wild card and the Colonials as winners of Pool A.

NE Nor'Easters-White, North East Baseball, NE Colonials-Red all also had 2-1 records on the weekend.
