The Hudson Valley Bulls defeated the Rhode Island Rebels 5-1 in the championship to take home the 2012 18u NEB-URI End of Summer Classic title. The 26 team tournament was trimmed down to 6 Pool Winners after Friday and Saturdays action.

Championship Sunday @ URI featured 5 tightly contested games. Game 1 saw the NEB Rays beat ITZ Thunder-White 5-0. Game 2 saw NEB Mudhens score 3 runs in the Bottom of the 7th to walk off and beat Team Connecticut Baseball-Nationals 4-3. In Semi-Final number 1 the 2 seed Hudson Valley Bulls beat NEB Rays 3-0. In the other semi-final Top seeded RI Rebels beat the Mudhens 3-2.

Despite rain in the forecast all weekend long only 5 games were lost due to the weather. The Rebels finished 4-1 on the weekend and the Bulls 4-0, losing a pool play game due to the weather.
