North East Baseball Rays player Ben Bowden has been named the Top Player in the State of Massachusetts by Max Preps...Bowden who attends Lynn English High School.....Won 6 games as a Junior and struck out 82 in 51.2 innings pitched including a perfect game.....At the plate he hit .394 and 21 RBIs. During the Summer of 2012 Bowden played with North East Baseball Rays and will  be heading down to play at Vanderbilt in the Fall of 2013.

He was also a participant in the Area Code Games this past summer.
