TJ Jann Comes Back From Injury To Become Friday Night Starter

Former North East Baseball player TJ Jann has made it all the way back from complications with Tommy John Surgery to become the Friday Night Starter for Penn State. In February of 2011 Jann had surgery on his right elbow but during surgery had his ulnar nerve served which required a second surgery. After 2 years of rehab Jann made his return on February 24, 2013 @ Liberty University.

Since then he has earned the Friday Night Starter role for the Nittany Lions. On the year he has 7 apperances and 4 starts with a 4.71 ERA. His last start against Wright State he went 7 1/3 innings and gave up 3 runs

Jann played on the NEB Rays in 2009 and NEB Mudhens 2010. While he was rehabbing in 2011 he served as an Assistant Coach and Pitching coach of the 16u North East Jays.
