18u NEB Invitational Attracts Over 50 College Recruiters

Despite getting 3 inches of rain on the Thursdsay and Friday before the event all games went off without a hitch in the 5th annual 18u NEB Invitational. This year the tournament was filled with talent on all 28 teams which participated and this led to the attraction of over 50 colleges in attendance. Of the 28 teams 6 states were represented including Massahcusetts, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

After pool play was done 5 teams had won their pool: North East Baseball Mudhens, Team Connecticut Baseball, Connecticut Bombers, New Jersey 9ers, and New Jersey Marlins. Because of school only the Mudhens and TCB could play on Monday, but due to the weather the game was rained out.

Depsite no champion being crowned our number 1 goal for the whole tournament was to get the players exposed to as many schools possible.
