The first annual 16u NEB/Holy Cross Classic did not go as planned thanks to the rain but the tournament went on and North East Baseball-White were crowned champs after a 10-3 win over the Connecticut Bombers.

Heavy rain on Thursday and Friday made Fitton Field @ Holy Cross unplayable so the event had to moved to Assumption College and Worcester State University. After a 1 hour delay for the early games all the games got off without a hitch. After 1 day of play both NEB and CT Bombers sat at 2-0, and after NEB beat the Bombers in the final pool play game, they set up a rematch in the championship game.

Tournament Co-MVP were Kyle Beaulieu and Steven Salisbury. Both the Worcester Warriors and L & M Baseball finished the tournament 2-1 but did not advance to the championship because of tie breakers.
