Over Christmas break North East Baseball's Ryan McKenna participated in the Power Showcase at Marlins Park in Miami, Home of the Miami Marlins.

Each year the Power Showcase is put on for some of the best power hitters from around the world to show off their power in a Major League Ballpark. Along with the Home Run Derby the players also play in games as part of the week. During the Derby McKenna swing with both a wood and aluminum bat, hitting 1 Home Run with each, both of those HR's traveled 403 feet.

McKenna is currently ranked 67th in the country by Perfect Game and has played on the 2013 NEB Rays, 2014 NEB Mudhens and will play on the 2015 NEB Mudhens.
