Despite losing their 2nd game in the double elimination tournament the 12u North East Baseball team battled their way back to make it to the Championship game on Sat 6/13 and won 7-5 over Clippers Pride at UMass-Lowell.

With the game tied at 5-5 in the bottom of the 6th inning Joey Marrone his a 2 run walk off to give NEB the championship. The championship game was a back and forth affair which saw 3 lead changes and 3 ties. 

During the regular season NEB went 18-6 during league play and 9-1 in division (Not including tournament play). They also finished in 2nd place at the 12u April Classic player in Northborough, MA as well as the 12u Nor'Easters Invitational in Lowell, MA.
