Boston Scorpions Win 18u NEB Invitational...Event Attracts over 45 Colleges

The Boston Scorpions defeated the North East Baseball Mudhens to win there second straight 18u NEB Invitational. After a weekend of beautiful weather Championship Monday was a wet one on the turf of the New England Baseball Complex. 

In The Championship game the Scorpions beat the Mudhens 8-7. The Scorpions scored 2 runs in the Top of the 5th to take the lead for good. In order to get to the Championship game the Scorpions won Pool A with a 4-0 record, in the Semi-Finals they were able to beat the North East Baseball Jays 15-0. The Mudhens who were Pool B winners with a 4-0 record in the Semi-Finals they beat the North East Baseball Rays 6-5 to advance to the championship game.

The Number 1 reason we host this event is to try and get the players exposed to as many colleges as we possibly can this years event attracted over 45 college from all over the East Coast. Below is the list of colleges in attendance:
