For the 3rd year in a row the North East Baseball Rays advanced to the playoffs of the 17u WWBA Championships in Emerson, GA.

This year the Rays won their pool with a 3-0-1 record which allowed them to get the 49th seed out of 64 teams in the playoffs. Due to severe weather all week the playoffs were shifted to 5 innings and 1 hour 30 minute time limit. In the round of 64 the Rays beat the Cincinnati Spikes 4-0. In the round of 32 the Rays put up 5 in the first and won 8-5. In the round of 16u the Canes American 17u came out on top 4-0. 

After Georgia the Rays will participate in the Boston Invitational followed by the Boston Open Championships
