USA Mavericks-Red defeated Providence Sports and Leadership in the championship of the 3rd Annual 14u North East Baseball Classic 11-1.

The Mavericks finised the tournament 5-0 during the 2 day event. Providence Sports and Leadership was the #4 seed and the Wild Card Team going into the playoff round, they beat the #1 seed Rhode Island Rays 11-6 in 9 innings to move on to the championship. The Mavericks beat #3 seed and Pool C Winner Merrimack Valley Thunder-Green 15-9 in the other Semi-Final at Littleton High School.

Cole Canfield of the Mavericks was named Tournament MVP. He hit 5 home runs over the weekend for the winner.

New England Nor'Easters and North East Baseball-White also went 2-1 on the weekend.
